Whether you know exactly what you are looking for or have a slew of half-baked ideas, I am happy to collaborate with you. We’ll work together from start to finish, and I’ll serve as your one-stop-shop director of design, production, and all things customer service. All designs are created soup-to-nuts for the client: color, paper stock, wording, font choice, theme, you name it. Each piece is digitally printed and put together by hand and always made with love. Here’s an outline of what you can expect:
CONSULTATION . DREAM IT UP
Bring your inspiration – photos of your dress, details of your venue, color scheme, a collection of things-you-like related to the big day or honoree. Feel free to send screenshots or web links in advance. We’ll meet at my studio, where I can share samples of my past work with you, do some brainstorming, and discuss budget, size of your order, timeline and any other intangibles.
SAMPLE TIME . LET’S GET TACTILE
Based on our conversation, I’ll put together a free sample for you that you will come to review. With this as a starting point, we’ll discuss what you like and/or dislike about, refining choices about color, texture, paper choice, and design.
REVISIONS . TWEAKING BY TELECOMMUTING
By email, I’ll send you proofs of the revised invitation. This is when the text and wording gets finalized. If you decide to do a full stationery suite – seating cards, menus, favors, etc. – we’ll typically begin this process by email, using your invitation as a jumping off point.
FINAL PROOF . THE OFFICIAL THUMBS UP
Time to see the product of your vision, creative collaboration, and feedback. We’ll meet in-person and you’ll review the physical proof in all its glory, examining the layout and text one last time. We’ll also finalize the number of items you’ll need printed, and calculate the deposit due. With your approval on the contract and the final proof, it’s onward to production.
PRODUCTION . SIGN, SEALED, DELIVERED—THEY’RE YOURS
Each piece is printed and put together by hand. The icing on the cake? I’ll even uniformly stuff each envelope, seal and stamp them. All that’s left for you to do is to drop them off at the post office!
PRICING . THE WHOLE CABOODLE
Invitations are priced according to the number of sets. Pricing depends on how complex your invitation will be. Working from a budget helps and I can generally stick to any budget given to me. Each set includes the following: invitation envelope complete with printed mailing and return addresses, invitation, insert card with additional event details, response card, and response card envelope with address printed on it. By your request at no extra charge, envelopes can be adorned with custom designed stamps, if you choose. Final payment is due upon receipt of your one-of-a-kind paper goods.
